Meet ‘Disappearing Rose 1’. I love creating my grid paintings, and I hope you’ll love them in your home too! The concept emerged early during my MA Fine Art, and I’ve returned to creating them as I feel inspired to explore their many possibilities.
Some shapes are fully present, some are emerging, some are barely there, some wiped away, some are scratched in and over with pencil, some are mixed media, some just paint, some leaving the edges. For me, it’s a painting bursting with difference, curiosity and harmony. Every grid has an individual story, just like all humans on this earth.
