This painting is part of the Wintering Series which considers the feeling of warmth and safety when you’re at home with ‘Nowhere else to be'. This painting made me think of being static, but choosing to just be and finding comfort in my own space. Not having to rush around, not having to do things, just enjoying the space I am in and the colours and objects around me. I hope this can give you the same sense of wellbeing when you look at it.
